I was in a dark place, my wife had just left me and took our kids. I was drinking at work and at night I would search downtown Waterbury for ladies of the night just to feel something. I couldn’t afford therapy and when I tried to talk to my family about the struggles I was dealing with they berated me and said I wasn’t a man and that’s why Tina left me. That’s when I decided to end it. I sat in my car with it running with the garage doors closed. As I sat there waiting for the sweet release of the afterlife I searched for something to listen to. That’s when I found Laundry in the Basement. I felt a renewed sense of self and a vigor to go on. I threw open the garage door and over the next 10 hours I binged every episode they had available. From listening to them talk about stags, to rap battles at chipolte you are consistently entertained. I don’t even miss seeing the kids anymore cause I know they will never grow up to be as good as these men are. They changed my life and they can change yours if you give them a chance.
