    196. "A Killer is Identified" - The Case of The Allenstown Four - Allenstown, New Hampshire

A serial killer, a trail of destruction and a name police had never heard. In 1985 in Allenstown, New Hampshire, a blue barrel with the remains of a woman and a young child were discovered in the woods near Bear Brook State Park. Fifteen years later, a cold case detective made another grisly discovery, another blue barrel and two more victims, both of them children. As investigators began to retrace the steps of the man they knew as Curtis Kimball, they discovered that he had a connection to New Hampshire and the site where the remains had been found. After several decades, investigators finally discovered the true identity of a serial killer. 194. “A Tale of Two Denises’” - The Cases of Denise Daneault & Denise Beaudin - Manchester, New Hampshire

A social club, two more disappearances, and an abandoned five-year-old. Six weeks after Laureen Rahn vanished from her apartment in Manchester, on June 8th of 1980, 25-year-old Denise Daneault disappeared after spending a night out at a social club.  For years investigators didn’t take her disappearance seriously.  What they didn’t know was that another Denise, Denise Beaudin, also vanished from the Manchester area a little over a year after Denise Daneault.  The two women had more than just their name in common, they were both living on Hayward Street.  But unlike Denise Daneault, Denise Beaudin wasn’t reported missing until thirty five years after she disappeared.  Denise Daneault vanished from Manchester, New Hampshire on June 8th, 1980. She was last seen leaving the Merrimack Club at approximately 1:30 am. At the time of her disappearance Denise was 25 years old, 5’5, approximately 135 pounds with brown hair and brownish green eyes. She was last seen wearing a brown print skirt.  Denise Beaudin vanished on November 26th, 1981 from Manchester, New Hampshire. She was last seen at her family’s home in Goffstown. She was 23 years old, approximately 5’5, 140 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. Denise has a distinct overbite.  If you have any information about the disappearances of Denise Denault or Denise Beaudin contact the Manchester Police Department at  603-668-8711.
