BYU Football Has Receiver Corps That's Got GOAT Material, Talent & Depth

The BYU Cougars have the best collection of wide receiver talent that Fesi Sitake says he's had the privelege of coaching during his run with the BYU football program and Jake Hatch does Sitake one better and says it's the most-talented and deepest receiver corps in Brigham Young University (BYU) history in his opinion.

Jake then talked about the Big 12 Pro Day even taking place this week at The Star in Frisco, Texas as 11 former BYU athletes will be among the 137 former Big 12 Conference players who will enjoy a miniature NFL Combine-esque experience as they seek to show their skills to representatives of all 32 NFL franchises over the four day event.

Finally, the show wrapped up with a look at why Jake believes the BYU men's basketball program should chase Utah State Aggies guard Mason Falslev in the NCAA Transfer Portal and what it may take for the Cougars to land the freshman sensation.

Jake then caught up with BYU assistant coach Kevin Gilbride as the two discussed what he makes of being back at Brigham Young University (BYU), what athletes he's been charged with developing like Keanu Hill and Ryner Swanson look like in spring ball and what his many connections to Provo, BYU and the Cougars' coaching staff mean to him.

Finally, the show wrapped up with a look at an NCAA Transfer Portal target for Mark Pope and the BYU men's basketball program in Rice Owls forward Keanu Dawes, as the former All-AAC Freshman Team honoree looks for a new program to call home and the BYU basketball program was one he heavily considered out of high school.

Jake then talked about the decision that BYU men's basketball star Jaxson Robinson has to make in the next month about his future, whether that's at Brigham Young University (BYU) or in the National Basketball Association via the NBA Draft, and what the implications and impacts could be for Mark Pope and the BYU basketball program.

Finally, the show wrapped up with a weekend recap of how things went for the BYU volleyball, gymnastics, baseball and softball programs with some hard-fought victories crossed over with upsets that don't happen very often for BYU Athletics.

Jake then talked about what the loss means for Mark Pope as he remains winless as a head coach in postseason competition and what it means for his legacy and reputation as a college head coach and what the implications could be for the BYU basketball program as they now suddenly enter the offseason.

Finally, the show wrapped up with some thoughts on what the next step(s) are for BYU and Mark Pope as they will now look at recruiting, adding talent via the NCAA Transfer Portal, add new talent off missions and via signings like Collin Chandler and Isaac Davis as they seek to get back over the top and advancing in the Big Dance.

BYU Basketball Has Must-Win Scenario Against Duquesne Dukes & It's Go-Time

BYU Basketball Has Must-Win Scenario Against Duquesne Dukes & It's Go-Time

The BYU Cougars open play in the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament today in Omaha against the Duquesne Dukes and Jake Hatch says it's a must-win for Mark Pope and the BYU men's basketball program if they hope to be considered among the best-ever BYU basketball programs in Brigham Young University (BYU) history and the good news is they have the goods to do it.

Jake then caught up with BYU defensive end Logan Lutui, who has battled back from an ACL injury to re-establish himself in the two-deep on the defensive line in Jay Hill's defense and he is using his institutional knowledge from his time playing for Hill and the Weber State Wildcats to his advantage as he looks to lead BYU to Big 12 Conference glory this fall.

Finally, the show wrapped up with some notes from Jake from his time at the NCAA Tournament so far with kind words for BYU form Heath Schroyer and Gonzaga Bulldogs coach Mark Few along with some notes he had collected from his attendance at BYU football practice earlier in the week and what Kalani Sitake's program looks like as they get closer to closing out spring ball.

BYU Cougars & Big 12 Conference Stand Poised For When Clemson & Florida State Kill ACC

BYU Cougars & Big 12 Conference Stand Poised For When Clemson & Florida State Kill ACC

The BYU Cougars and Big 12 Conference are in a strong position with the ACC appearing to be on the verge of blowing up and the "unattractive" Big 12, led by commissioner Brett Yormark, having an opportunity to expand their reachwhile remain a viable product and league even as they see the Pac-12 and Atlantic Coast Conference falling by the wayside, with the Clemson Tigers joining the Florida State Seminoles in initiating what will be the first of mortal blows to the ACC via their recently-filed lawsuits.

The consolidation of power, money and influence of the Southeastern Conference and the Big Ten Conference is undeniable, but the Big 12 remains poinsed to withstand another round of conference realignment and could even strengthen themselves if they are smart with their decisions and moves, a la adding power programs like the Miami Hurricanes, Virginia Cavaliers or the North Carolina Tar Heels along with the aforementioned Clemson and Florida State dominos set to fall and reignite mass chaos.

Jake then talked about the philosophy of the BYU men's basketball program that Mark Pope has embraced and the backstory of Keegan Brown's key influence in selling Pope on their NBA-esque offensive style and how they go about differentiating themselves from their Big 12 peers as they get set to take on the Duqesne Dukes Thursday in the NCAA Tournament.

Finally, the show wrapped up with notes on the BYU football program locking in another Friday night game this fall against the Oklahoma State Cowboys, The Royal Blue Collective re-launching their website with new Brigham Young University (BYU) NIL opportunities along with an update on where things stand for the BYU baseball program after a win over Utah Tech Trailblazers.
