Love Factually
We're just two professors standing in front of a rom-com, asking it to be the subject of our podcast. Paul Eastwick and Eli Finkel explain what your favorite romantic films get right -- and wrong -- about the science of romance. Because it's time for scientists to take Ryan Gosling as seriously as you do.

Ah, movies, they are one of my love languages. They were part of a special bond between my dad and I when I was a little girl and we would watch movies together and talk about them, a nd now doing this with men I'm dating is a wonderful bonding experience. Another great interest is learning about love and relationships between people, why we fall in love and how we establish a lasting relationship is a fascinating topic. To have found this podcast that combines discussion of love/relationships and their depiction in movies, backed by scientific findings, what could be better? (Other than actually living within a great love affair.) I am enthralled and hope there will be many more episodes of Love Factually in the future.

Great fun listening to these guys talk the science of relationships in some of my favorite movies. Plus they debunk some harmful myths about dating, love, attraction and romance as a bonus

I have never had so much fun learning! This podcast is a gift to everyone who loves rom coms (and let’s be honest, who doesn’t). It’s sophisticated, smart, hilarious and best of all: evidence-based. I can’t wait for more episodes!
