How many times have we heard, "awe, she's so LUCKY" or "she must have a horseshoe up her ass" (our personal favorite) ? Luck is constantly thrown around when we see successful women. When we perpetuate luck over everything else, we diminish the hard work that person has endured to achieve success. But what about those born into privilege? With circumstances out of their control? That is luck, isn't it? On this episode of the Refund, we return a couple ideas: that being "lucky" isn't bad (it should be rebranded as gratitude) and that you need both hard work AND luck to find success. You can't have one without the other.
