I am a mother in construction and this platform allows a place to share valid stories and life experiences that often times are overlooked. So thankful for MIC as it really gives you a place of community so you don’t feel like it’s just you out here alone going through all these feelings.
Inspiration in a Podcast

This is a refreshingly inspirational podcast for women who wonder about breaking into male-dominated career fields but may be hesitant because they have no mentors who are already “there.” As Tonia states: “If someone else has done it, you can, too. So do what you have to do to make it happen!”

Mothers In Construction is one of the great inspirational podcasts out there. I can honestly say there is something on this podcast for men and women to learn from. The creator and people interviewed tell it to straightforward from their experiences. You’ll laugh, cry but more importantly be inspired all in one.
Mother in Construction Review

Mothers In Construction (M.I.C.) is a podcast for women who are mothers, but as a man that is also in the construction industry I find a lot of relatable stories. I enjoy listening to each individual woman experience. I have been a tradesmen for over 19 years and have worked with a lot of hard working, talented women. I find this podcast to be motivational and inspiring for not just women but for men too who may consider pursuing a career in the construction field. It is also informative for men who may have a wife or a love one in the construction industry. This podcast will give you a better understanding of what women in construction go through day to day at work.
