Abbie is so real & raw. She says things with a kind heart, yet straightforward. I absolutely love this podcast and the encouragement and conviction I’ve felt as a mom. I met her at the Wellness Collective and she is so kind and real.

UPDATE: Now a mama of 7, I still LOVE the podcast, and I love the new WWKW: podcast version. I've been off instagram for months now, and your WWKW was one of the things I missed most! Keep em coming! As a mama of 6, expecting my 7th, it’s so refreshing to hear from Abbie and know that the content she is spreading is God honoring and true! Though a *gasp* sinful human like the rest of us, she always points her message back to scripture and the gospel of Christ. She addresses hard issues with grace, and Rather than answering the “easy, checklist parenting” type questions, she often gets down to the heart of why the question is being asked in the first place. Knowing there isn’t ONE right way to parent, her perspective is refreshing and freeing in our culture of comparison and discontentment! I am especially excited because I am taking 2023 off from all social media. (Too much distraction from the better things). She was my favorite account to follow, and I missed her WWKW segments! Thankful that I can continue to be encouraged, and know that so many other moms are being encouraged by such a GOOD message that we all need to hear!
Overall, A Great Podcast

Overall, I really enjoy this podcast. I’m not a huge fan of the Robertsons, BUT that’s ok! Most of the episodes are so Bible-focused and full of practical Christian living and parenting advice without being heavy-handed and insisting that the way that Abbie and her husband raise kids is the only way.
Episode 74 mistake
Aug 30
Hi Abbie! Love your podcasts. I am never one to call people out on things I disagree with, but there was a mistake in reference to scripture you made in episode 74 in reference to our dear Lord, and I can honestly say if it was me I would hope I would be corrected so please know this is from a place of love for our Savior and not a petty attack on you. You accidentally combined two Bible passages and made a funny comment along the lines of “oops Jesus didn’t pay taxes yikes I guess He’s perfect so that’s okay I suppose?” type of comment and I just wanted to point out that He did pay taxes to the Romans…when questioned by the Pharisees about paying taxes, He told them to look at a coin. He points out that Caesar’s face is on it, so his taxes are owed to him (Mark 12). The story of the disciple pulling out the money from the fish is completely different. That is in reference to temple taxes, which were basically fees collected from adult Jewish men by the temple for its upkeep. You can reference Matthew 17 for more context, but essentially Jesus says the temple is His father’s so He doesn’t technically have to pay this fee, but to keep peace, He has Peter pay His and Peter’s fee with coins fished out of the mouth of a fish. Hope this made sense!
