44-yr-old divorced, single mom, Leisel, reached out to 45-yr-old divorced dad, Rob, on Bumble.  Rob eventually asked Leisel to meet and the two have been dating for about 3 months. But Rob only agrees to see Leisel every two weeks and doesn’t stay in much contact between times. When asked about where they stand, Rob says that he doesn't like labels and wants to "take things slow."  Most concerning to Leisel is that Rob says he likes "aggressive women” who make the first moves and pay for dates 50-50. Feeling anxious about Rob’s interest, Leisel connects with Paula to see if she should gamble on this relationship becoming more equitable, or if she needs to fold ‘em and walk away.

What would Paula do (WWPD)?

Paula articulates the differences between how men and women approach love and relationships in a clear and concise way that not only makes sense, but has completely reframed the way I understand my own relationship history and how I approach relationships now. She has helped me to understand the ways that men work differently, the power of subconscious programming and how it shapes our adult romantic relationships, and that getting the healthy committed relationships many of us seek is possible through this knowledge and self concept work. Paula has helped me to transform my self concept, believe in love after many painful relationship experiences, and make changes in my relationships that before I didn’t think I was capable of. So grateful that I found this brilliant coach and podcast, give it a listen! Thank you for all you do, Paula.
