As a kid growing up in Koreatown in Los Angeles, Autry Museum of the American West curator Tyree Boyd Pates discovered museums and the power of art. Now, as one of LA’s hottest young cultural influencers, Tyree spearheaded an ambitious, crowd-sourced project to spotlight life and creativity during the pandemic, with a special emphasis on the minority and low-income communities that have been most affected by the virus.
