MK117 - Dr. Sean Hurst - Solving mysteries using forensic pathology
Sean Hurst is a forensic pathologist working in Oregon. He went to Seton Hall University for his undergraduate degree in biology, then went on to receive his MD qualifications at St. George’s University. He completed an anatomic and clinical pathology residency in NJ and was trained in forensic pathology in Miami, Floria. He moved to Oregon almost five years ago to become a Deputy State Medical Examiner and has been the Chief Medical Examiner for about 4 years. Dr. Hurst is an avid baker. He and his wife can usually be found fostering any number of dogs and kittens for a number of rescues in Portland.
