💯

This podcast is perfect. I adore these gals. They're hilarious, and anyone who disagrees is wrong and, let's be real, probably sexist. Their banter is mean, funny, and really thoughtful, which is a combo very few other podcasts pull off. Love the act outs, love the wine pairings, love the many ways they refuse to buy the book. Except for Johnna, who has the guts to ask Strand employees for these books in person, which terrifies me more than improv does.

Let's put it this way; I love this 'cast with the same intensity that Sabrina loves The Secret. Consider Mean Book Club my Oreos.

The 'cast is at the top of my "what got me through lockdown" list. I've done spit takes, and have absolutely been that person doubled over laughing while going on walks. Thanks for making me seem normal! Can't wait to re-introduce myself back into society.

(My only nitpick is that I felt compelled to look up a photo of Tucker Max after the IHTSBIH episode, and I can't erase that face from my mind.)

Hilarious Podcast!

Honest reviews that keep me laughing! They are honest about what’s wrong with these New York best sellers. I look forward to new episodes every week.

Like Hanging Out With Friends

This podcast is hilarious. Every time I listen, I feel like I’m hanging out with my friends. I crack up every single time I listen. My favorite has to be Sabrina, because she always sticks up for the books I like 😂. I highly recommend this podcast to anybody who loves a good cast of characters.
