Encouragement for Covid Long Haulers
Ladies, I feel such a kinship to y'all as a Covid long hauler. Listening to your caboose episode, I appreciate both of your perspectives on your recent trips as I look to my upcoming vacation. There is good and bad in stepping out my typical routine and there’s such much anxiety around it. Thank you for your courage in sharing your stories and your willingness to be vulnerable. You help me not feel alone on this journey and you've put words to so many feelings I have and helped me name things I’m going through that’s similar to y’all’s journeys.
Love this! EXCEPT “The cards”. 🤦🏻♀️
So LOVE & APPRECIATE BOTH OF YOU SO MUCH! Appreciation for the open honest vulnerability. I have a few personal connections to MS so this is more than just another podcast for me. So, thank you. Thank you for being so honest w the the good, the bad and the ugly of it all. Christina I cannot articulate how much o adore you and you’re candidness regarding your anger and your level of acceptance (or lack thereof). Boy do I appreciate it. I know Jamie is being her authentic self, but I struggle w the never ending “you can do it” and the “meditation” of it all. The “polyana” approach is very removed from my own. Perhaps I just do t relate. But you’re both the best. Hoping we get a Katy Segal episode soon! Also the Edie Falco was 💯 but otherwise I think I prefer when it’s just the 2 of you talking all the truths. But keep on doing it. For the record… CHRISTINA, I’d be front and center for a show w you at the helm, in this case “the driver’s seat” in the Uber. Imagine each episode would be a new story but you and your story (MS & maybe a divorced mom) who also thinks she might like women too. Maybe your story is the common thread and the passengers lend a new POV every ep. Maybe u go to a support group via zoom?? Maybe u meet some real “characters” there too. Take us along on your daily battles too. We love, we laugh (ur dark sarcastic dry humor of at the forefront) we cry. Jamie can be in your MS group and your bff who is the annoying “cheerleader” to whom u can’t relate at all, but also cannot live without. 🤷🏻♀️ JUST DO IT!!!!! 📺 💪💪💪❤️❤️❤️
A must for MSers.
Christina, I am you. Thank you.
