Episode #119 - Becoming the Best - w/Bo Eason
Episode Notes:
Have you ever met someone who claims to be the "best" at something, but has nothing to back it up? No stats, no awards, no certifications, not even a witness to their greatness? Yeah, I think we all have.
Boasting about being the "best" is an easy title to throw around, but it's usually far from the truth. If you're going to claim to be the "best," you better back it up with some serious work ethic. Reading, studying, practicing, researching your craft and constantly striving for excellence is a must.
In this week’s episode, Bo Eason, the "best" safety in football, the "best" playwright on stage, and now aiming to be the "best" speaker in the world, shares his story about what it takes to be the "best" and the importance of generosity in achieving that goal.

Episode #117 - Never stop learning
Episode Notes:
Are you one of those that gets excited about learning new information?... if so, how long has it been since your last training event, 3 months-6 months or more than a year?
Regardless of your chosen career, everyone needs updated training and learning new information, but those in the auto repair industry should be practicing continual improvement, with short intervals between trainings just to stay relevant!
As Ben Franklin had quoted- Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement and success have no meaning.
This week, I wanted to share this message to help encourage the pursuit of knowledge, seek out training to continue education… not only to help you become a better technician, or more successful business owner, but to become a better person altogether!

Episode #115 - Stay in your own lane
Episode Notes:
From my observations throughout life, most of us really have a hard time staying in our own lanes, and on a couple different fronts… can you guess what they are?
There are many times in life we all are clearly not in own lane when it comes to stepping out of our area of expertise and advising others how to do THEIR jobs… sounds familiar?
We also tend to drift out of our lane at another level too… a much deeper, and more important level… in our own minds, about who we are, and what we should be doing with our own unique gifts & talents.
This week I’m exploiting the hard truth of how we’re holding ourselves back from maximizing our true purpose, being the “best” at what we should be doing, instead of wasting our time & energy telling others how to do their jobs or chasing the “shiny” objects of distraction that take us way out of our lane!
