We explore beliefs in marriages, relationships, dating, and prenups. We talked about having the option to opt out of the marriage, without penalty, at the two year renewal process. Penrose shares why he believe his lady was created just for him and why he believes their relationship is so solid.

In this week's episode, we get back to love and relationships with my special panel of guests; Kaci, Kay Kay, Mista Calhoun, and BJ. We discussed out interpretation to the song Take Care by The Dream. I immediately kicked things off with the important question asking what does it means to be taken care of? We also discussed that it means to be encompassed by love, and why some people fantasize the idea of being in a relationship without looking at the reality of the work it takes to maintain a healthy relationship. This topic was a great one with many varying opinions.

In this week's episode of Moms and Martinis, Kaci, Kay Kay, Calhoun and I continue the conversation about setting the table. We discuss identifying the red flags before entering a relationship, dating a man with children, the differences between standards and preferences. We also discuss dating someone who was not what we considered to be the ideal mate and how the relationship worked. Calhoun gives the ladies tips on how to show effort in a relationship.
Despite the in-depth conversation, we are still left with so many questions. Do we blame society for the narrative that is being shared about the division between men and women? Is there a double standard for men and women? Are men judged by their money? Are women judged based on their sexual partners? Are plus-size women looked at as fetishes?
