Momwell
We often enter motherhood envisioning joy, nurturing, peace, and love. But the reality can blindside us. Nobody tells us about Mom Rage, overstimulation, intrusive thoughts, or other mental health struggles. Unfortunately, when we seek help, we might face a lack of support, a system that doesn’t put moms first, and a world that turns a blind eye to the challenges of motherhood. We’re here to change that. We believe that moms deserve access to community, support, and mental health literacy. If you’re struggling with motherhood, you’re not alone–and you’re not failing. On The Momwell Podcast, host and psychotherapist Erica Djossa teaches strategies to help you cope with the psychological and emotional load of motherhood and prioritize your mental health and wellbeing. Erica shares the best kept secrets of the therapy world and interviews other professionals (psychologists, pediatricians, psychiatrists, fertility specialists, lactation consultants, and more!) who provide their expertise to empower you on your motherhood journey.

Erika has this special way of knowing exactly what I need, exactly when I need it. Episode 242 with Liz Earnshaw came right as I was feeling so many of the stressors discussed in the episode. It helped me put into words so many of the things I was feeling but not able to communicate to my partner. Thank you, Erika. You have truly changed the way I view and approach motherhood. I am eternally grateful.
Literally life changing!

As a first time mom, I swore I had it figured out until my sweet little baby became a toddler lol. And because the parents/grandparents did things differently than I wanted to, I started looking for podcasts to help me out in the challenging areas & I found Momwell. The episode about childhood trauma affecting us as parents is the one that got me & I have been doing inner work after discovering I had some trauma that I hadn’t even acknowledged which has totally changed how I parent. THANK YOU THANK YOU!!
Great Podcast! Less expert background, more content!

I love the topics I just wish more time was spent on the different aspects of the topic rather than the background of the expert and how they ended up on their journey. That’s all wonderful and interesting but it eats into a big chunk of the content. I feel this would be better in the show notes so more time can be used for relevant content.
Wow!

Although I'm not a mother myself, I appreciate the realness Erica brings to her podcast! She's very relatable and hits on the topics people are afraid to talk about!
