I started listening to The Unruffled Podcast when my first child was a newborn, alongside reading Janet Lansbury’s book and Magda Gerber’s work. It completely transformed my perspective on parenting in the best way possible. The insights and practical guidance helped me navigate every challenging stage with more confidence and clarity. Now, with my kids at 2 and 4, I still listen every week because there’s always something new to learn that helps me handle the ups and downs of parenting with more patience and understanding. Janet’s calm, reassuring voice and expert advice make this podcast an absolute must-listen for any parent looking for a more respectful and peaceful approach to raising children. I started listening to this podcast a little over seven years ago when I was pregnant with my oldest child. I learned so much about respecting babies and I’m so grateful I was able to have that when my kids were that age.
