Beyond Grateful

I started listening to this podcast a little over seven years ago when I was pregnant with my oldest child. I learned so much about respecting babies and I’m so grateful I was able to have that when my kids were that age. Now, over seven years later, with two kids - we’ve all been through so much I never expected and I’m still listening and learning every day. Thank you, Janet. So much.

North Star for Toddlerhood

As a former childcare educator & first time mother — Janet’s work will always be a touchstone. Every episode of this podcast is a reminder and deeper insight into the value of respectful and authentic relationships; they reveal the potential we each have as parents/caregivers in fully loving and leading our toddlers, who are seeking independence and deep connection all at once. These episodes also help me to bring my husband up to speed as he has never had any training in child development, but wants to remain “unruffled” by toddlerhood and all the opportunities it brings. We also benefited so much from Janet’s work on infants our first year of parenthood. I highly recommend her books and blog alongside this podcast. Thank you, Janet!
