Show Notes: S6 E8 - I Forgive You Date: July 2, 2024 Episode Title: I Forgive You Host: Pastor S. Geoffrey Monts Introduction: Good morning, good morning, good morning. This is the impact man and you know what time it is. It is time to rise and grind. Grab your cup of coffee, grab your device, and let's get into this word. Good morning, brothers. This is Pastor S. Geoffrey Monts, and thank you for being with me this morning on Morning Meditation for Men. Episode Overview: In today's episode, Pastor Monts discusses the profound and often challenging topic of forgiveness. He emphasizes that forgiveness is more about personal healing and less about absolving the offender. He draws lessons from Mark 11 and shares a personal story to illustrate the importance of letting go of resentment for spiritual growth and well-being. Key Takeaways: Forgiveness is for Personal Healing: Forgiveness allows you to heal and move on with your life, rather than holding on to resentment. Faith and Forgiveness: Just as Jesus cursed the fig tree and it withered, our words and beliefs have power. Holding onto unforgiveness can block our blessings. Power of Words: Life and death are in the power of the tongue, and we will eat the fruit of our words. Negative declarations can hinder our spiritual progress. Manifestation through God's Word: True manifestation comes from calling upon God's promises rather than relying on our efforts. Personal Accountability: Acknowledge and release any lingering resentments to fully embrace the life that Christ has planned for you. Living a Prosperous Life: Prosperity in life encompasses health, relationships, and overall well-being, not just financial success. Spiritual Clout: Seek to live a life that pleases God, gaining His favor and trust, rather than seeking approval from others. Importance of Forgiveness in Prayer: Forgiveness is essential when praying, as it aligns us with God's will and opens us up to His blessings. Scripture References: Mark 11:20-26 - The lesson of the withered fig tree and the importance of faith and forgiveness. Jeremiah 29:11 - God's plans for our prosperity and future. Ephesians 4:32 - Encouragement to be kind, tender-hearted, and forgiving as God in Christ forgave us. Final Thought: Forgiveness is a crucial step in your spiritual journey. It allows you to release the burdens that hinder your relationship with God and others. By forgiving, you unlock the fullness of God's blessings and experience true spiritual freedom and prosperity. Take inventory of your heart, forgive those who have wronged you, and live in the abundant life that Christ offers. Closing Prayer: Father, I have been in a rough place and I haven't forgiven, and I'm sorry. Thank you for not taking my life and letting me go down into the pit because of my lack of forgiveness. Now, God, there are going to be some brothers and some sisters who may listen to this who are in a place where they're stuck in their life. God, bring to my remembrance in my sabbatical time, in my quiet times during the day, in my prayer time, if there's anything else that I've held on to that's keeping me from receiving the fullness of you. Help me to release it. I forgive that person for what they've done, and I believe, God, that you're opening up doors and portals and windows for me so that I can continue to live and continue to grow. I pray for these brothers and sisters. I pray for the anointing to let it go, to live a life where they can let it go and then they can experience your fullness. I bless you, I magnify you, and I glorify you for what you're doing in their lives right now. In Jesus' mighty name, amen, amen, and amen. Conclusion: Thank you for joining me today. This is Pastor S. Jeffrey Monts, and I hope you have a blessed day. Peace. I'm out of here. Remember: Forgiveness is a powerful tool for your personal and spiritual growth. Embrace it, live it, and experience the fullness of G
