Diary Lady ,

You have inspired me!

I am Diary Lady from episode 43. You both have inspired me to search more deeply into my mother‘s background. I have ordered her military records and have discovered that my mother was a long distance telephone operator in Mansfield Ohio from 1939 to 1942. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all your hard work and dedication to this project. You have changed people’s lives! I look forward to the Netflix documentary, Mark’s coffee table book 🤣😂, and many more projects to come. You both are a great team and it is a pleasure to listen to your podcasts.🏆 Diary Lady❤️ Merideth Putman Canyon Country, CA

My FAVORITE Podcast

Do yourself a favor and try this podcast. It’s filled with fun, real-life stories from the diaries of a young woman growing up during the depression, interesting historical tidbits, and a lot of heart. I so enjoy the voices of the two podcasters who bring the diaries to life. I sincerely hate that I am near the end of the series, but am grateful for the many hours I was able to listen to this show. I am forever a “Betty” 🌹❤️
