    Walpurgisnacht

    Walpurgisnacht

    On this week’s episode, we are celebrating Walpurisnacht, halfway to Halloween or Samhain, the night before Beltane, the night the witches gather on top of Mount Brocken in Germany and dance and revel all night. This area is famous for it’s myth and legends and I have found some good ones to share with you.

    So lets get into shall we? Grab yourself a cup of tea, make sure the doors are locked, and the sage is close by. I have a story to tell you.

    Now to the Brocken the witches ride;
    The stubble is gold and the corn is green;
    There is the carnival crew to be seen,
    And Squire Urianus will come to preside.
    So over the valleys our company floats,
    With witches a-farting on stinking old goats.

    Alice Crawford Snow Part 2

    Alice Crawford Snow Part 2

    This week, finally, I’m finishing up the story of Alice Crawford Snow. If you haven’t listened to part 1 I recommend you do. There’s a lot of nuisance to the history that we are going to start talking about in this episode but this is the episode where everything goes a little ape shit. Last time we ended with Alice being found in a burning bed so we are going to talk about that and the ensuing mystery and followed Alice for the rest of her life, and her afterlife.
    So lets get into shall we? Grab yourself a cup of tea, make sure the doors are locked, and the sage is close by. I have a story to tell you.

    Alice Crawford Snow

    Alice Crawford Snow

    On this week’s episode I’m telling you the harrowing tale of Alice Crawford Snow. There’s a pretty good chance you have never heard of her. Now if you are from the same area of Colorado as I am, you have probably heard of her sister, Emma Crawford, the namesake of the Manitou Springs Coffin Races. Alice was your classic Victorian spiritualist with her own spooky story that almost took her life. And we are talking about the theories behind the mystery, spiritual delusion, suicide attempt, or demonic possession. Now there was so much going on here that I decided to make two podcasts!
    So lets get into shall we? Grab yourself a cup of tea, make sure the doors are locked, and the sage is close by. I have a story to tell you.

Pleasant Host Spooky Dreams!

I love this podcast! Angela is so sweet and welcoming making me comfortable for really scary subjects. Sometimes I find myself pausing an episode and waiting for morning to finish it. If you’re looking for an authentic paranormal podcast then look no further!

Befriending ghosts and ghouls

Angela invites a wide array of guests onto her show, which allows me to learn about hauntings and stories I had never heard of before. She begins by delicately crafting the scene with historical background before interviewing her guests, which allows me to really feel like a part of the story. This construction of her podcast makes the stories all the spookier, as I imagine myself walking down haunted hallways or getting locked into basements! I really enjoy that this podcast focuses on the experiences of her guests, rather than third-person research into a subject like many other podcasts I listen to. This makes me feel like I’m speaking with them, in a group of friends, sharing tea and scones and ghost stories. It’s unique, classy, informative, and spooky. I look forward to hearing from many more guests as this podcast continues.
