    Sinduja Sriskantharajah, a 5th-year Finance Co-op student, talks about how she wanted to run for President of the Ted Rogers Students' Society (TRSS) but changed her mind. As an involved member in her own community, Sinduja knew when she joined the Ted Rogers School she wanted to be involved as much as possible in the university community. She had her mind set on running for TRSS President but ultimately decided to run for the Vice President of Corporate Relations in TRSS. In this role, Sinduja launched the Period Equity Project in partnership with Joni, which is a sustainable period product company. She discusses how this project topic was the main focus of her role in TRSS, how she began to execute the project, and all the support she got from the TRSM community, staff and faculty.

As an international student, he shares what drew him to the Ted Rogers School of Management and the opportunities he saw in Toronto. Further, Jeremiah talks about the course union, the Ted Rogers Real Estate Association and how it supports Real Estate Management students.

    Sinduja Sriskantharajah, a student in the School of Accounting and Finance majoring in Finance shares her valuable and wholesome experience at the Ted Rogers School of Management. She has been very involved in the Ted Rogers Student Society and in TRSM in general. She has also been in the Co-op Program and outlines what she did in her roles and the potential job opportunities with this major. As Sinduja is on the cusp of graduating she shares some of the valuable skills she has gained in her time at TRSM  and how she will utilize them in the future.

    69. My Experience in Co-op as an International Student w/ Anish Anil

    Anish Anil, a 4th year Global Management student minoring in Finance discusses his experience in the Ted Rogers Co-op Program as an international student. He shares what factors of the school drew him to the Ted Rogers School and what elements drew him to his major. Coming from Pakistan, Anish shares the differences between Canada and his home country in terms of resumes, student group involvement and more. Further, he dives into the co-op application process, misconceptions when applying to your first work term and not losing motivation. 



    Anish also goes into how TedPacks and his TedPack Mentors helped him in his first year to network, get involved in the community and navigate university overall. He utilized resources such as the Business Career Hub and International Student Services to build up his resume, conduct mock interviews and obtain any permits he needed to work in Canada. He breaks down his experience in the Ted Rogers Co-op Program and how he is not limited as an international student he also encourages others to apply and keep your head high.

    68. Navigating TRSM as a Mature Student w/ Victoria Pearson

    Victoria Pearson, a 3rd year Law and Business student discusses her journey going from working full-time to joining TRSM. Victoria had gone to Seneca College to pursue photography, after a bit she realized it wasn't for her and went to work in the hospitality industry. Unfortunately, the pandemic hit and many obstacles were thrown her way. 



    Victoria then went on to study for the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) and then decided to apply to the Ted Rogers School. In her first year, she was nervous to put herself out there and join the TRSM community as a mature student. She goes on to discuss how the age factor did not affect her involvement and how welcoming/supportive her peers were. Victoria wraps up by having a moment of reflection towards her younger self and how much she has grown and achieved through her time at TRSM.

    Cayl Baggayan, a School of Accounting and Finance (SAF) student majoring in Accounting  shares his unconventional journey. He explains his experience as a transfer student from a chemistry program and why he decided to pursue accounting. Cayl is also the incoming President of the Toronto Met Accounting (TMA) course union and talks about how TMA supports students in the Accounting major.
