    In a disturbing recent trend, multiple promising legal efforts and programs that addressed longstanding systems of inequality have been shut down and challenged.
     
    Last month, the U.S. Court of Appeals blocked Fearless Fund from awarding grants to historically underfunded women of color-led businesses. In Evanston, Illinois, the historic municipal reparations program is now being challenged in court. And the Oklahoma Supreme Court dismissed a suit filed by survivors of one of the worst incidents of racial violence in U.S. history, occurring in Tulsa in 1921.

All three viewpoints encapsulate precisely how I’m feeling right now, but I’m leaning more towards Angela with stress testing every single aspect of the law. Try out all of these new “powers” that the supreme court has given the office of the president and dare them to call him out!

Your podcast all the time as I think more people need to be reminded to be welcome back home!!
I share your same fear, concerns, and skepticism on what’s happened recently. And notice same as people in media seem to be accusing others of the recent violence. And there’s only been 1 person doing this! I’m disgusted on what media is doing. It’s making me sick!!! I live in SC, feel unsafe to speak my opinion for fear upon my life. All I can say is we need to reach out to these “other states” where votes matter and stop acting like we can’t do something for now. You all remind me of this!!
