No Joke Podcast

I’ve been a fan of the boys since 2010 and their sketch comedy Harvard Sailing Team days. This podcast is a gift. These two are so funny, and most importantly they are so supportive of one another. Hearing Adam’s glee when his friend Bill makes an excellent joke - and vice versa - puts such positive energy in the world. My all-time faves include the Bracket Bracket, the Thon, and What’s In Adam’s Hot Little Hand.

I’ve never been more excited to listen to two guys talk about wallets or bagels or rulers but Billy and Adam are able to toe the line between dullness and entertainment like masters. They make bets they don’t follow through on, they frequently get facts wrong and attempt to speak on things they know little about, but oddly enough, the more out-of-left-field the topic is, the more excited I am to listen. I simply MUST hear about Billy and Adam’s experience with gutters! or wet hats! or the 2003 Teen Choice Awards! As a weekly listener for five years, Billy and Adam feel like close pals of mine and I sometimes find myself mimicking their cadences in my own conversation. They are able to make the serious fun and the bizarre quite serious. Hyped 5.0!!! P.S. I want more No Joke Hall of Fame content! That was such a fun way of engaging the audience and making the No Joke Nation feel connected more like a community :)

Some podcasts make you laugh. Other podcasts teach a lesson. Still others make you think. No Joke Podcast accomplishes all three, and much, much more. As a day one listener, tuning in to hear Billy and Adam talk about Brother printers, breakfast brackets, and whatever is in Adam’s hot little hand is the highlight of my week. I hope this podcast goes on forever, because although they may not know it, Billy and Adam are a big part of my life, and I consider them close friends. Thank you both for the years of laughter. HYPE!
