Great podcast!
Such good advice and tips. Ann knows what she's talking about and helps nurses love their best life.
Where is the patient care?
I appreciate Ann’s work and vision in many ways but what keeps leaving me feeling disheartened and disappointed with her interviews is how much anyone is talking about improving the lives of patients. I don’t think improving the lives of APRNs and patients is mutually exclusive. Improving the lives of APRNs will inherently improve patient care but this is not addressed. I think if you don’t have intention of improving patient care or health systems and just want to make money, you’ll erode the confidence the public has in nursing.
So much motivation for APRNs
As a midwife, ann truly understands the medical field - the good, bad and ugly. She is smart, motivating and has helped me jump start living my best life.
