Burrow threw for 356 yards and three touchdowns with no interceptions Sunday night against the Los Angeles Chargers, but a pair of missed field goals in the fourth quarter and a ghost defense on the final drive resulted spelled a 34-27 loss at SoFi Stadium. It marked the fourth time this year that Burrow has thrown for 350+ yards and 3+ touchdowns and still lost. No quarterback in NFL history has more losses in a season when hitting those benchmarks. Only eight others even have three. Jacksonville’s Blake Bortles had four in 2015, but he led the league in interceptions that season with 18. New Orleans’ Drew Brees had four in 2016, when he threw 15 interceptions. Both Bortles and Brees made 16 starts in those seasons. Burrow only has 11 with a possible six remaining. When you add interceptions to the mix and look at the number of losses a quarterback has with 300+ yards, 3+ touchdowns and no picks, the Bengals have thrust Burrow onto an even more dubious list. Only four quarterbacks have more career losses than Burrow’s four with those credentials – Ben Roethlisberger and Brees each have six, and Aaron Rodgers and Kirk Cousins each own five. NO MORE BLACKOUTS FOR THE CINCINNATI REDS! NFL and College Football Picks | OTB 11.15.2

Watch Off the Bench Presented by UDF with Chatterbox Sports Monday-Friday 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. LIVE on the Chatterbox Sports YouTube channel. Say hello to simply, "Reds TV." Major League Baseball and the club announced on Thursday that MLB will produce and distribute Reds local TV broadcasts next season. That means Reds games will no longer be shown on Bally Sports Ohio, which was recently rebranded as FanDuel Sports Network Ohio, as its parent company, the Diamond Sports Group, worked through exiting bankruptcy. “With this arrangement, Major League Baseball essentially ended blackouts for fans in our seven-state home television territory and increased the reach of our game broadcasts exponentially," said Doug Healy, the Reds' chief operating officer and chief financial officer. The Reds are following the Brewers, Twins and Guardians in moving away from the regional sports network model this offseason. Last season, MLB produced and aired games for the Padres, Diamondbacks and Rockies. Those arrangements included cable and satellite distribution, as well as direct-to-consumer streaming options. That means there will be more options for fans who want to watch Reds games on their various screens next season. "Partnering with Major League Baseball ensures a bright future for our televised game coverage," Reds president/CEO Phil Castellini said. "This collaboration provides fans with unprecedented access to Reds games, including direct-to-consumer streaming with no blackouts, while maintaining traditional cable and satellite TV options." Here is what Reds fans need to know about the changes: Where can I find the games on my cable, satellite or streaming service? If you've already been watching Reds games via a cable or satellite provider, those games will still be available for you to watch from that same provider in 2025. For fans who do not have cable or satellite service in Cincinnati's home television territory, the games will now be available via a subscription to MLB's streaming service – with no blackouts. The Reds had an average reach of 1.1 million households on its RSN during the 2024 season. With MLB’s direct-to-consumer streaming option, Cincinnati’s games will be able to reach approximately 13.5 million homes. According to Healy, the expectation is that anyone with an existing package will continue to have that same package on their cable provider. “Nothing will really change for fans that have an existing TV package that includes FanDuel Sports [Network Ohio],” he said. What about Reds fans who live in outlying areas of the Greater Cincinnati region but are situated in other team's TV market territories? “We have a very wide home television territory. We cover seven states," Healy said. "We bleed into West Virginia, into North Carolina. We’re throughout Tennessee, throughout Kentucky, throughout the majority of Ohio, the majority of Indiana and we even go down into Mississippi. “There will be no blackouts going forward. Anyone in our home television territory will be able to purchase Reds games through this over-the-top, direct-to-consumer streaming package.” How much will the streaming service cost? Prices for 2025 will be set at a later date. Similar to other clubs, fans will have the option to purchase only Reds games or bundle this local package with MLB.TV to stream all games around the league. In 2024, these local packages for the Padres, Rockies and Diamondbacks were $19.99 per month or $99.99 for the season. Fan

Cincinnati Bengals in a MUST WIN GAME. Joe Burrow VS. Justin Herbert. | OTB 11.14.24

Watch Off the Bench Presented by UDF with Chatterbox Sports Monday-Friday 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. LIVE on the Chatterbox Sports YouTube channel. We talk about this article written by Elise Jesse   https://www.si.com/nfl/bengals/allbengals-insiders-plus/exclusive-jermaine-burton-on-mistake-building-trust-with-joe-burrow-other-bengals-teammates-01jcn9adfv7c   Bengals rookie wide receiver Jermaine Burton hasn’t exactly had the smoothest transition to the NFL. The 23-year-old has made two big plays this season, including a 41-yard pass against the Eagles in Week 8. It looked like he was trending upward, receiving praise from Joe Burrow. “Jermaine is going to be a good player," Burrow said. "He continues to get open and we are going to continue that dialogue that quarterbacks and receivers have to have.” The Bengals made Burton a big part of the game plan ahead of a must-win matchup with the Raiders in Week 9. They knew Tee Higgins was out with a quad injury, so it felt like the right time to turn to the third round pick. The rookie responded by being a no-call, no show for the Bengals' mandatory Saturday morning walkthrough. That forced Zac Taylor to make him inactive for the game—a decision that was made around 24 hours before kickoff. The Bengals went on to beat the Raiders. Even though he made Burton inactive, Taylor certainly left the door open for the rookie to make amends after the win. Burton played a season-high 39 snaps just four days later on Thursday Night Football against the Ravens. He caught one pass on five targets for 11 yards. Burton shared his thoughts on the situation and how he's trying to move past it in a 1-on-1 interview with BengalsTalk.com on Wednesday. He credits a tight knit wide receiver room for helping him grow and move past the issue. “The mistake I made, those guys did such a good job keeping my head right,” Burton said. “When you make certain mistakes it's like 'Ah, Ah, it keeps you down.' You still gotta move on and be better, know that it's better days ahead, and thankfully, I have guys around me like how I do that keep my head away from everything else such as like media and all of that stuff so I feel like everything is good.” Mentally, Burton sounds remorseful and determined to move past the issue. "Things are going to happen, you’ll mess up, and everybody makes mistakes,” Burton said. “As long as you can get up the next day and still put your best foot forward then I don’t think it really matters, I think you’ll be in a good spot.” As a kid who played at three different high schools and transferred from Georgia to Alabama in college, his connection with coaches has a direct impact on the way he approaches the game. Burton's eyes lit up when the conversation shifted to Bengals wide receivers coach Troy Walters.  “I think I made a dramatic change in my game due to the fact that Troy Walters is such a hands-on coach,” Burton said. “It is kinda dope to have a receiver coach like that to be so hands-on with you, and as open as he is, he makes me more comfortable and less afraid to make a mistake and fix it. He stays on me and goes hard, and I feel like that’s why I’ve made such a dramatic change. And also being around guys like Tee (Higgins), Ja’Marr (Chase), and guys like TI (Trenton Irwin), who have been in this and have so much experience. I feel like all of those guys have made me change.” The young receiver seemed excited to talk about his growing relationship with Burrow. Earning the trust of his quarterback is crucial, especially in a Burrow-led, pass first offense. “Really great, motivational, positive, and letting each other know what we feel we both did well on a certain play and what can be fixed," Burton said. "Overall, I feel like me and Joe (Burrow) have improved our relationship over these past few weeks.” After the setback, the two are building trust ahead of Cincinnati

BREAKING NEWS: Cincinnati Bengals Host Xavien Howard & Leonard Fournette | OTB 11.11.24

Watch Off the Bench Presented by UDF with Chatterbox Sports Monday-Friday 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. LIVE on the Chatterbox Sports YouTube channel. SUBSCRIBE to the channel to ensure you never miss a thing.   We Cover this story from https://www.cincyjungle.com/2024/11/10/24292477/bengals-jamarr-chase-contract-extension-mike-florio written by Jason Garrison   The Cincinnati Bengals and star wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase, who once again delivered a Madden-like performance on Thursday Night Football, couldn’t reach a contract extension before the season began, leading to Chase’s “hold-in,” which kept him out of preseason action. Despite the contractual standoff, Chase’s on-field performance hasn’t suffered. Heading into Week 10, he leads all receivers in nearly every major category. He’s on pace to finish the season with career highs: 119 receptions, 1,766 yards, and 18 touchdowns. This puts him in contention for AP Offensive Player of the Year and, with a bit of luck, could even place him in the conversation as one of the rare non-quarterback candidates for NFL MVP. Instead, they planned all along to pay him a relatively modest $4.8 million for 2024, making any negotiations feel more like a formality than a genuine attempt to secure a long-term extension. Florio further highlighted that things were far uglier behind the scenes than they appeared. “Behind the scenes, it was uglier than anyone realizes, with fights over fines and a belief by Chase that they’d broken their promise to pay him by offering a contract that looked good on the surface but that had a very bad structure,” Florio reported. This season hasn’t gone as hoped, and at 4-6, the Bengals face a steep uphill battle to salvage the second half. While it’s not impossible with Burrow, Chase, and a potent offense, the road will be tough. With the talent on this roster, things should have been more straightforward. Beyond the numbers, Chase’s relationship with the team is crucial for the Bengals’ future. Their offensive success hinges on the connection between Burrow and Chase, which is why the front office should carefully consider the long-term impact of its approach. Keeping Chase happy and appreciated isn’t just essential for the team’s success but also for maintaining the loyalty of a fan base that idolizes him. Contract negotiations are part of NFL business, but the Brown/Blackburn family’s track record hasn’t always inspired confidence among players or around the league. If they’re serious about bringing a Lombardi Trophy to Cincinnati, they’ll need to show players, fans, and the NFL as a whole that they’re committed to a new era of meaningful, trustworthy relationships with their stars.
