Fantastic podcast for those that like to learn and are interested in the oil and gas industry. Each episode seems to highlight a different portion of the oil and gas industry and the show really demonstrates the wide number of opportunities the industry offers. This podcast is a go to when I’m feeling uninspired or burnt out.
I find myself going back and re-listening to old episodes multiple times.
This show has become the Maroon 5 of podcasts.
These guys use to call out injustices in the industry, which was a first of its kind. And flame Pink Petro, Women in Energy and Flipping the Barrel which was funny.
Now they make you sit through a monotonous informercial at the beginning of every episode and then they want you to sign up for stuff. Just a total waste of your time. The Texas Oil and Gas Podcast is now more controversial than these guys.
Not sure why they chose to be undistinguished, safe and politically correct like every other O&G podcaster out there, but that’s what they are. You’re not evolving guys!
Move on, they sold out
This use to be one of the best Oil and Gas pods out there, but now you have to listen to a 15 minute TPH Insight of The Week crappy commercial before every episode. And the hosts formally provocative and controversial style has been replaced with corporate approved conversations, and mundane guests. I’m disappointed that Jake and Collin have decided to “sell out” to the man. Other really good O&G podcasts can make money without boring their audiences to death, why can’t you? Unsubscribed
