FAITH - THE LANGUAGE OF THE SPIRIT

Sunday 11th February 2024



God's help comes to us in form of His Word; therefore, every time we do not read God's Word, we are robbing ourselves.



We should always ensure that our actions do not contradict our faith because faith without actions is dead. (James 2:17).



Genesis 1:26, 28

God gave the spirit of man which is His image, dominion over the sea, air, and the earth.



Genesis 2:7

The contact between the spirit and the body of man brought forth the soul.



Man is a spirit, having a soul and living in a body; the body gives him permission to function on earth while the spirit gives him permission to function in the spirit world.



Man is the only creature that has the legal right to operate both in the spirit and natural realm and if God wants to do anything here on earth, He goes through man.



Genesis 3

Before man fell, he was living by his spirit, living by faith, from the inside-out, not controlled by external information but by information from within his spirit which is the image of God.



However; when man fell, his identity was lost; he stopped living by his spirit (faith) and started living by his senses. He became self-conscious



Remember God's greatest investment in a man is His image and that is what the devil was targeting; he went after man because he was God's representative on earth.



Romans 3.23

Before man fell, he was conscious of God's glory and after the fall, he became conscious of himself. That is why the most dangerous enemy is not the devil but "I" (self). John 3:30



Remember God is a spirit and when He wants to do something with a man, He contacts his spirit because man's true identity is locked up in his spirit (John 4:24, John 1.12-13 AMP, 2Peter 1:3 ).



The attack on man In the garden of Eden was aimed at the spirit because the devil knew that once he attacked the spirit, all other things would be disconnected. So for God to also fix man, He had to deal with his spirit.



Hebrews 11.6 - But without faith it is impossible to please Him....



Faith is the language of the spirit and it is a must if we want to deal with God because God is a spirit.



All the business for example; healing, deliverance, promotion, breakthrough , etc, are done in the spirit and because it is a spiritual affair, we must engage faith.



If we, like God, want to solve problems and have permanent results; we must operate in the spirit.



Hebrews 11.6 ..... For he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.



Faith doesn't focus on things, it focuses on God. It is after we have sought Him that He rewards us with the things.



Hebrews 12:2

You should never take out eyes off Jesus because He doesn't change. If you want anything from Him focus on Him and He will in turn reward you with all you need.



Hebrews 11.1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.



Evidence means proof for what you do not see; for example, if you want to sell land, you don't carry the land with you but you just show the title deed as proof that you are the owner of the land.



Faith is the proof (title deed) to the property that you are yet to manifest in the physical. You hold on to that evidence until you possess it. But before it is manifested in the physical, it must be first seen in the spiritual. (2 Corinthians 4.18)



Mark.11.24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.



Having comes after receiving; you must receive it by faith before you see it physically.



When you have received something in the spirit, there comes a knowing in your spirit that it is done; that is the definition of faith.



You stay in faith after receiving while waiting to have the physical manifestation of what you received in the spiritual realm.

A CRY FOR A GREATER DIMENSION IN GOD





Genesis 1:2-3 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light.



When darkness covered the earth, the answer was light. As a church of Jesus, we are supposed to be the answer and solution to questions being asked but is our light strong enough: are we radiating what it takes to invade the gross darkness that is covering the earth?



If we are little candles burning in the dark, how much of that light can affect the darkness? Are we small plantain yet the kind of darkness we see needs a strong beam of light that eliminates it all?



The strength and degree of brightness is determined by what reflects and we are the ones that reflect the light of the sun (Jesus Christ). Are there things/veils in us that make our reflector dirty so that the beam doesn't come out like it should be?



This is where we need to ask the Lord to eliminate whatever hinders the light within us from shining as bright as it ought to.



1 Corinthians 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.



God's weakness is stronger than your strength. We are in a situation where people are getting to a place where what they thought was the answer isn't and this is the time for the church of Christ to reflect the light but we are busy caught up also in things and paying attention to things we shouldn't. Let us set our faces like a flint and seek this God until He appears to this generation.



Ezekiel 47:2-5

Why are you settling for the ankle-deep when you still see men heading to hell at the speed of light? If the ankle-deep can't stop it, why should we settle there when there is knee-deep, waist-deep, and a dimension where we can only swim in the largest flow?



Could it be because of a few miracles here and there, that we have reached a place where we think we have arrived?



Thank God for where we are but can't our eyes see the evil in our generation; if what we have cannot affect the evil and decadness in our colleges and universities, then we must go back to Daddy and ask Him for a higher dimension.



Matthew 12:3-4

When David and his men were hungry, they went into the house of the Lord and found bread that helped them. When people come to the house of the Lord, do they find bread? Man or woman of God, such are the questions that we should ask ourselves.



Let us not bury our heads in the ground but cry to the Lord and tell Him, "no, we cannot settle for this level of manifestation." Many are satisfied with people falling and there is nothing wrong with that but is that all? Are lives of people being changed and is the power of sin being broken off their lives?



If this power is not affecting us, we can't sit down and lie to ourselves. You can still speak in tongues either at the ankle deep, knee deep, or waist deep or the flood but the results are not the same; I am an advocate for the flood.



Acts 2:17 [' And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,] [ That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;] [Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,] [Your young men shall see visions,] [Your old men shall dream dreams.]



Whoever you are, this has nothing to do with a prophet or evangelist but has everything to do with the body of Christ. We are the church: the salt and light of the world and God uses the church as a system of intervention on earth. Let us bow our knees to the One who makes things happen and tell Him; "Daddy, this is not the place, we cannot settle here". (Deuteronomy 1:6)

A LIFE OF FAITH- FROM THE UNSEEN REALM TO THE SEEN REALM



Sunday 4th February 2024- second service



Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.



We can not do business with God without faith. It is the currency that enables us to do business in the kingdom of God. A life of faith is a believer's lifestyle because we live, walk and stand by faith. (2 Corinthians 5:7, Galatians 3:11, Romans 5:2).



Genesis 26:1-16

Isaac, as a farmer engaged the divine systems when the natural systems had failed until he became the most powerful man in the land. That's what a life of faith can do.





In this day and age, when all the world systems are shutting down and paving way for the anti Christ, a life of faith is inevitable for sustenance.



Hebrews 11:3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.



The things which are seen were not made of things that were visible. The visible (seen) came from the invisible (unseen). Everything we see has it's parent source from the unseen dimension and a day will come when the seen will revert back to the unseen form. ( 2 Peter 3:10)



We are made in His Image: (Colossians 1:15)



Genesis 1:26 Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."



God made man in His image and gave him dominion over the three realms (air, sea, and land). He wanted man to operated the seen world on His behalf. God is a spirit and the image of God in us is our spirit. So we are capable of operating exactly like Him here on earth.



So if we as children of God want to do business like our Father, we need to acquaint ourselves with how He does His business;



God works with the unseen dimension:



Romans 4:17

...God, calls those things which do not exist as though they did;



At the beginning of creation when there was confusion upon the earth, God spoke what He wanted into existence.



Genesis 1:6-28 [6] Then God said, "Let....and it was so. [9] Then God said, "Let....and it was so. [11] Then God said, "Let....and it was so. [14] Then God said, "Let there be.... [20] Then God said, "Let..... [24] Then God said, "Let the....and it was so.



When He spoke it into being, He saw that it was good.



Genesis 1:31

[31]Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good.



In the entire Genesis chapter one, God spoke it and saw it created in the unseen ( Spirit realm).



Then in Genesis 2, He took what He had already seen in the spirit realm and gave it a body - formed it in the seen realm.



Genesis 2:7-9

[7]And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

[8]The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed...



This shows us the precedence of how things should be created. See it first in the spirit realm and then form it in the seen realm. If you can see it the Spirit (unseen) realm then it will show up in the physical realm.



1 Kings 18:41-44 [41] Then Elijah said to Ahab, "Go up, eat and drink; for there is the sound of abundance of rain." [44] Then it came to pass the seventh time, that he said, "There is a cloud, as small as a man's hand, rising out of the sea!" So he said, "Go up, say to Ahab, 'Prepare your chariot, and go down before the rain stops you."

CELEBRATING GOD’S GRACE

John 1:16 And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace.



We thank You Lord Jesus for Your amazing grace, we appreciate and celebrate You for giving us grace upon grace, and gift upon gift.



Thank You for qualifying and counting us worthy; You are our sufficiency and confidence. You said in your word;



“Look to Me, and be saved, All you ends of the earth! For I am God, and there is no other (Isaiah 45:22)



Our eyes are on You; the Monarch of Zion and Ancient of days, the ageless One. Who can fathom You, for You are beyond comprehension.



Nothing in the realm of men can capture Your greatness and supremacy, nothing can describe who You are.



With the little we know of You, in all humility, we lift our eyes to You and bless You our Father, Jehovah Elohim.



We choose to believe that You created the heavens and the earth and all things by the power of Your Word. Father, You who sits in the circle of the earth, rise upon the whirlwind to our help ( Isaiah 40:22-23 )



Now we understand when the angels said;



When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, [4] What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? (Psalm 8:3-4)



Father, We cannot absorb this with our finite minds but release ourselves and choose to believe. Thank You for Your love that is beyond our sense of knowing.



Lord, It is Your love that gives us the confidence to stand before You, for You love us.



1 John 3:1 Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!



Thank You Lord for the double anointing of sonship; by birth and by adoption. You call us sons, this is amazing to us



Hebrews 2:8 You have put all things in subjection under his feet.” For in that He put all in subjection under him, He left nothing that is not put under him. But now we do not yet see all things put under him.



Father, we long to see Jesus exalted and sited at the right hand of Your Majesty interceding and advocating for us by the speaking of His blood. This is why we confidently and boldly come before You.



We have not been redeemed by corruptible things but by the precious blood of Jesus Christ, how can we say ‘thank You.’ (1 Peter 1:18)



All we can do is give our lives unto You and honor You with them. We lay it all at the altar of sacrifice; here is Your vessel, house, and temple. For we are no longer of our own (1 Corinthians 6:19)



Matthew 16:18

We are Your property and Your Church. Thank You for building and beautifying us; making us spotless without wrinkle, and a presentable glorious bride. Father, this is our confidence in the work of sanctification.



Psalm 138:8 The Lord will perfect that which concerns me;...



We choose to look away from all things that distract and focus our eyes on You, Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.



We launch ourselves on the saving grace as we are saved by grace (Ephesians 2:8) It is not of us that we are saved; we began by grace, we will carry on by grace, and we shall finish by grace. Thank You for this multifaceted grace.



As a house of faith, we are grateful for this grace. Looking back, it has been Your doing and it is wonderful in our eyes. We shall not take credit for nothing. We give all the honor, all glory, and all praise to You.



Thank You for who You are to us, for the things You have done in our lives, the things You are doing and about to do. We pray that Nations will bow their knees and confess You as their Lord.



As we continue to seek Your face, we pray that You will carry us on the wings of Your grace to places You have prepared for us to reveal You.
