Planet Platypus - One Industry (Rock The House Theme‪)‬ The Planet Platypus Podcast

    • Comedy

Jiggy Josh Fiore put together a "We are the World" Anthem for our Rock the House event. Take a listen.

lyrics:
I was devastated when I got the word
Never did I think I'd get the news I heard

Listen to the panic its a global epidemic and they said it would be better if we shut down to let it/ run its course
and thoughts runnin through my mind/
and the numbers keep on doubling they need more time/

so we turn the music off and the lights went dim/
and we all stayed home just to wonder when/ we can get this mother f****r up and running again/
it's a daily struggle every day that none of us win/
just a couple bucks in my bank till I'm busted/
I listen to the media, man I cant trust it/
at least I got my family/ and this industry that's always there for me/
and even though we stuck we gon rock the house/
and when it's all said and done I ain't got no doubt

When it's time for the comeback
We gon go so hard
We greatest entertainers on the globe so we know that the show always must go on

And when the lights start flashin
And the girls start shakin they asses

Everybody throw cash everybody raise a glass one industry strip club strong

Bartenders slinging drinks by the thousands
girls on a stage full of customers around it/
all throwin money in the air make it rain/
servers lighting up the bottles and we poppin champagne/

it's a celebration cause we all made it/ a recharge after a long vacation/
the entertainers are in hustle mode/ people sick of sittin home are now comin out in droves/
and we throw the biggest party that the world has seen/
and well bounce back better and we'll live the dream/
cause the world needs something only we provide/ it's a formula that always stood the test of time/

so the world is ready, we gon give em a show/
and when that first beat drops everybody gon know/ that the strip clubs back and we here to stay/
and no matter what they throw at us we find a way/

I never knew my last shift would be the last shift/
I would have worked harder tried to generate tips/

for the ladies that take care of me and work so hard/ i know it isnt easy trying to do this job/
I appreciate the love from my entertainers/ and I'll think twice next time I want to complain/
and I just pray you're ok and we gon get through this/ I cant wait to play all the hottest new shit/

a shame that mainstream doesnt accept us/ we get no help and they disrespect us/
we get no love we dont get support/ unemployment we dont qualify it got me distraught/
politicians never cared about the strippers with kids/
but they quick to stick they face between a couple of tits/
and it's the same old story been that way forever/
it's a long road ahead but we can make it together.
