I DON'T WANT TO DIE DOES YOUR SUPERVISOR CARE ABOUT YOUR SAFETY OR JUST GETTING THE JOB DONE PART 2 Workplaceradio4usall

    • Education

Management may have one view of workers and the workers may have another view of Supervisors and Managers.  Whose to blame when someone gets hurt on the job? Bill was a worker in Part 1 of this topic; now he got promoted to Supervisor for part 2 of this topic.  Bill will speak about the importance of safety in the transit system and if you have a concern about your safety then express it in writing and fill out a "Safety Resolution Form." We will put this form up on our website at:  www.workplaceradio4usall.com

A great deal of passengers waiting for their trains may see transit workers standing around talking to each other and not working.  What they don't know is that it is not safe to work on the train tracks while a train is about to come into the station.  THEY DON'T WANT TO DIE AND BE KILLED BY AN ONCOMING TRAIN.  When the train leaves the station it is now safe to perform their track duties but you would never know that because you have boarded your train.  Please don't judge them.  Some workers died because they didn't wait to perform their track duties and was killed by an oncoming train.  Who was to blame by taking shortcuts which can cost them their life.
