Feel more fearful after listening
I only listened to one birth story and honestly found it traumatizing and wish I never listened. While the mother had a positive outcome, the story itself mentioned pain, fear and baby’s heart rate dropping- things I don’t want to be ruminating about at my due date. I think having accurate detailed birth stories can be useful to people but these should not be labeled as “positive” and should have a disclaimer in the description.
