Surprisingly good. Decent production and guests.

Waited a while before writing a review. The hosts seem to be improving the quality of the show and also bringing on knowledgeable guests. I’d like to see them keep guests on topic and moving along a little faster but that will come with time. My favorites are guests who are every day people sharing their experiences, and also experts that share advanced ideas and techniques.

Hit or miss depending on the episode

First let me start out by saying I love the 299 Book Series. Glen interweaves a lot of that into the podcast which I enjoy but some of the guests just seem to fall flat with me.

One particular episode regarding gang violence hosted by a prison guard was awful. The most recent episode with Rifle Dynamics was fantastic. Like I said before...hit or miss.

Lastly I’m sure if I met Shelby in person I would really enjoy speaking with her but as sort of a “color commentator” with Glen it just doesn’t work. I actually prefer the episodes sans Shelby because it seems more relevant content is included rather than just spousal banter.

Sometimes hard to listen to

Seems like a big infomercial for their books. And the constant interruptions of their guest trying to speak makes it hard to listen to sometimes
