Presidential

Good overview of them all.

I’m up to Harrison and enjoying so far. The content added by each expert is a good addition. I like the format with each prez getting the same amount of time whether they served one term or 4. Just enough to make a listener go find out more if there is one you’re really interested in….or want to go on a blind date with.
I love this podcast. And I’m giving it one star.

I’m a tremendous fan of this podcast. But one notorious mistake has damaged its credibility so badly, that I’m giving it a low rating. At the end of the October 2024 episode, the host contends that if Trump were to win, he would only have four years. While legally true today, we’ve seen in other countries around the world how elected officials find ways to circumvent their own laws to stay in power. Presidential is far better at looking backwards (5 stars). When it comes to assuming what will happen in the future, it should probably wait until it has passed.
I want to love this podcast!!

I so wish I could listen to this podcast. It’s actually really interesting. I just can’t with the person hosting. The vocal fry. The frequent giggling for no reason. The glottal attack in the middle of words like “certain” (cer-in), “important” (impor-int), “Martin” (Mar-in), etc. It’s like being at a middle school slumber party where someone is talking about presidents. I know it’s a me problem. I’ve tried really hard to listen. I guess I’m just sensitive to how some people talk.
Lots to learn

I learned so much about some of the obscure presidents. I walked away with a greater respect and appreciation for the men who have held the office.
