Best British Comedian Hosted, NOFX Based Podcast!
But seriously, it’s great. Like any podcast, you click for the subject matter but stay because you fall in love with the hosts.
Not only are they extremely knowledgeable about NOFX, they’re quick-witted, friendly, and very interesting to listen to. Instantly welcomed into the ole mental comfort zone. They’re constantly voicing thoughts and sentiments I myself have had about NOFX but never had friends nerdy enough to actually discuss. I love Coaster too Red!
Their jokes generally land with me, and their off-topic conversations are accessible and hold my attention.
They get great guests (Karina!) and I’m sure they will only get better. The lesser known guests are generally in bands I haven’t heard of but subsequently check out and often quite enjoy. So that’s a bonus.
A bit about me:
NOFX has been my favorite band for a solid 15 years. I’m the NOFX “that guy” in my locality. My old band (The Involuntarys , not to be confused with my current band, Bingo Boys @bingoboysindy who you should check out if you’re still reading and into not very sneaky shameless plugs… and punk/garage stuff) actually got to open for them in Indianapolis, 2012(13?) with Teenage Bottlerocket. I also had the bro package (gift, I am poor) for the Ohio Final Tour stop. Got circle game punched (gently) by Mike and gifted a stick from Smelly which he had just used to play The Decline.
As a major fan, I was worried this podcast was gonna be some dingus like me who would talk about the same thing every ep and miss all the details, but thankfully this is the opposite. Excited to see where they take it.
Give this one a listen if you’re into NOFX or just punk rock or comedy in general.
