Quantum Recast: Your Favorite Films, Recast In Different Years

Great concept, brilliantly executed by a group of friends who know and love cinema far more than I do. I enjoy the banter and Tanner’s recurring attempts to have an absolute nobody cast in a main role. But the real reason I keep coming back is to hear Cory get angry every episode. I’d love to give 6/5 stars, but that’s not how math works.

Absolutely love the concept behind this podcast and big fan of the hosts. As fellow professional amateur movie buffs and critics, my brother and I love the hypothetical recasting of movies. Recent recasts for Christopher Nolan’s Inception and David Fincher’s Se7en have been two of the more interesting discussions!

This is a perfect podcast for movie buffs! I keep IMDB handy so I can check out actors they mention that I might not know and also get ideas for movies to watch later. The hosts are fun and clever and the whole time I’m thinking, “Oh good choice. Who would I pick?” If you love movies, imagination, and alternate realities, you’re in the right place.
