Comfort

This podcast has became my comfort podcast just the idea that I don’t have to choose between my sexuality and religion is so comforting. Thank you so much

Amazing ❤️🏳️‍🌈

This is one of my all-time favorite podcasts. I love Ben and Charlie’s different personalities. This podcast has helped me to become a better ally, as well as brought me closer to Jesus Christ. I appreciate listening to perspectives from so many different people. Charlie and Ben are both so vulnerable and honest, it feels like I’m listening to two of my friends. I’m grateful to hear the things that are difficult for LGBTQ+ people so I can be aware and advocate, as well as the hope that can still be found through Jesus Christ. I always feel the Spirit when I listen to this podcast, but not really in the “confirming and comfortable” way. It stretches my mind and heart. Definitely give this podcast a listen! (P.S. Charlie is a Swiftie which makes it all that much better. 🫶🏻)

Unrealistic and sad

The Mormon doctrine is that gays will be fixed and assigned a proper spouse on the other side of this life if they are righteous enough. This show pretends that you can be Mormon and gay and happy. You can’t. You can chose live in this life or salvation in the next. Not both. (Charlie is now technically an apostate BTW) That is a toxic and dangerous message especially to LGBTQ youth. Just listening to some of these episodes shows how problematic this is. And all it does is allows cis het Mormons to point and say “see you can do it.”
