I love this podcast! The ladies do a great job of picking very relatable and varied topics and they are super eloquent and hilarious to boot. And even though I am not a Latina mom, I can totally relate and engage with what they are talking about. I have nodded along countless times. Really enjoyable listening!
Won Me Over :)

This is so much fun to listen in on. I have had so many laugh out loud moments. Previously, I was only listening to podcasts that are from an intersectional and critical race theory lens. So when the first episode was exalting certain pop artists I had a gasp moment because I think they are highly problematic from my White Supremacist Capitalist Patriarchy critical lens. HOWEVER, the subsequent episodes have been so fun and refreshing! Everything just went up from there. So many relatable moments from ladies that I absolutely LOVE! Give them a whirl, you shall not be disappointed.
Good Girl who?

Alex’s sister here! Wendy & Alex, you are hilarious & so authentic. Love listening to you girls & I am literally laughing out loud in every episode! Listening to the “Good Girls” episode and thinking how crazy it is that I was so the opposite of all that and we have the same mother. Alex so right when she says the older you get the less you care what people think. I must have been very mature for my age because even as a teenager I never really cared! I was pregnant at 17, never got married even though my mom signed the paperwork to allow me to get married at 17, but I said no. Then, I moved out at 19 with my daughter to start my own family as a single mom. My mom basically disowned me for leaving the house. I was being responsible, but in my mom’s eyes I wasn’t being a good girl! I’m also the daughter with 6 tattoos that I never tried to hide, which made my mom very mad because “What would people think?” Wendy, I do know who the “baby daddy” is so that technically makes me a good girl right? Thank you Alex & Wendy for all the honest conversations! Your daughters are so lucky to have you as their mamacitas!!
