Cody Gilkeson is the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion leader for eXp Realty, as well as the Staff Chairman of ONE eXp. Being born and raised in the deep south led him to experience a wide range of discrimination, both as a witness and a target, which drew him to search for a career where he could have an impact against these kinds of words and actions. While working in the banking sector he had the opportunity to hear his hero Amber Hikes speak, and that moment was the spark he needed to finally commit to doing DEI work full-time.
