    Lindsay Shares Pfeiffer’s Birth Story

The episode we have all been waiting for is here! Lindsay shares all the incredible and hilarious details of Pfeiffer’s home birth! We love hearing about Lindsay’s transcendent, out of body experience that she likens to Bruce Almighty meeting God for the first time. Hah! Labor Birth Postpartum
    In the Episode, Lindsay shares:
Her experience with her water breaking. How her doula got her to start dancing in between contractions. She felt completely calm and quiet inside her body. That she actually didn’t feel grounded in the tub, which was not what she expected. From 2am-6am, she felt like she completely lost any concept of time and had an out of body, transcendent experience. As the sun started to rise, that is when everything started to pick up again. The mind game that was happening during the pushing process. Pfeiffer passed meconium as she came out and had to go to the hospital. Her postpartum experience with blood clots and bleeding. She has a whole new respect for the strength and intelligence that her body has. There is nothing she would do differently and credits vocalizing along the waves of contractions as the greatest tool she had.
