Alice Munro died this week at the age of 92, leaving behind an incredible legacy. Munro was born in Wingham and lived in Clinton for many years and often used southwestern Ontario as inspiration for her short stories. She was the first lifelong Canadian to win the Nobel and the first recipient cited exclusively for short fiction. What was it that made her so great?
