Winner of Is Wales Talented in 1994, a life of money, fame and excess took its toll on Jazz trumpeter Louis Horne. Drink, drugs and scandal trailed the eight-year-old wherever he went and after a moment of phallic revelation that will live in infamy, his fledgling career was derailed. Now as a washed-up, washed-out and weighty 33-year-old, he’s decided it’s time for a comeback.
Join Louis as he tries to crack the London Jazz scene and gives you VIP access to a world where bebop and brawling go hand-in-hand.
You will learn more about exhilarating late-night jams, seedy promoters doing dodgy deals and the deep-seated rivalry among London’s Jazz performers, which has spilled over into vicious retribution, with musicians regularly being mutilated, abducted and disappearing altogether.

    After his altercation with the Triads, Gino is in hiding, however with the Soho gangsters offering a staggering £250 bounty for the capture of the portly man from Piedmont, London’s jazz musicians are hot on his trail.




    However, in a moment of seeming divine intervention, Louis is handed a heavenly helping hand to get his little buddy out of hot water but our hapless hero doesn’t know the supernatural forces he's toying with and in a lapse of moral fibre that would disappoint his new friend very much, he allows his greed to get the better of him…

    A day of gastronomic galavanting in London’s Chinatown turns sour, as Louis and Gino are the victims of a crime. This leads our heroes into a face-off with a notorious enemy as they find themselves embroiled in a Be-Bop Battle with mystical religious undertones. Will Louis sacrifice Gino in the name of peace?     Pretending to care about social issues has finally worked out, as Louis lands the gig the of a lifetime, playing at Number 10 Downing Street, after the Prime Minister hears his tribute track to Greta Thunberg. The soiree is a smorgasbord of stars, as luminaries from Louis Theroux to Natalie Portman hobnob with kids TV royalty Chris Packham and Michaela Strachan, while Louis has his athletic credentials tested by 1992 Olympic 400 metre Gold Medallist Sally Gunnell.

    At Gino’s behest, Louis takes a trip down memory lane and explores his complex past with the help of therapist, Dr. Antonia Udderman. However, Gino’s behaviour at the doctor’s office, which is located underneath a Chinese restaurant, leaves a lot to be desired and Louis’s excavation of his past proves more traumatic than anticipated, with a small goldfish paying the price.
