this isn't a "normal" book review. this is part of my experiments in magickal reading where i share what - within a given book - grabs me and wants to be implemented into my life. if i'm giving my time and attention to a book, it should be giving something back, after all.

this time, we're digging into "Things That Matter: Overcoming Distraction to Pursue a More Meaningful Life" by Joshua Becker.

fair warning, and something i didn't mention in the video... the author is religious (Christian), and i am not. i was able to kind of ignore those bits and see beyond them. your mileage may vary.
