Success has a different meaning for each of us. But the thing that unites all of our definitions of success is that we should set a goal and achieve it to consider ourselves successful. So, how do we do this? Ruth Gotian is here on the show today to explain how.
Dr. Ruth Gotian is the Chief Learning Officer and Assistant Professor of Education in Anesthesiology and author of The Success Factor: Developing the Mindset and Skillset for Peak Business Performance. At the age of 43, she attended school to get a doctorate on success and wrote the book The Success Factor in the middle of the pandemic, while working full time.
Ruth will go over the four elements of success which are: intrinsic motivation, perseverance, a strong foundation that is constantly being reinforced, and continuous learning through informal means.
We will also discuss what she means when she says, “No, is a not yet” and “Being busy vs. being productive.”
