He teaches courses on microeconomics, behavioral economics, and his research is on belief formation, political media, and polarization.  His forthcoming book, Undue Hate, is a behavioral economic analysis of how misunderstanding contributes to affective (emotional) polarization in politics and other forms of interpersonal hostility, and will be available in spring 2023.
