SisterMentors has been nurturing the next generation of women of color leaders for 25 years! Our work centers on the needs and dreams of women and girls of color in the face of deep-seated institutional inequities found in the educational system. With the help of SisterMentors, over 100 women and girls of color have evolved in astounding ways. They are on their way to earning higher education degrees, particularly PhDs. I am your host, Kahmeela Adams and I will be talking to some of these mentors and mentees about becoming Black women with PhDs.
