Who Shat On The Floor At My Wedding? And Other Crimes
Who Shat On The Floor At My Wedding? was a question shared by brides Helen McLaughlin and Karen Whitehouse after they tied the knot on 11 August, 2018 on a boat in Amsterdam. It was a question that launched a podcast, which led to the hiring of unqualified detective Lauren Kilby, the purchase of a €99 lie detector, and the bothering of some of the world’s best forensic experts - all in an attempt to find out “poo dunnit”. For season 2, the investigative trio is back with a brand new mystery set in Sweden (Scandi Noir if you will) called The Case Of The Tiny Suit/Case. They now live by the phrase “when the cops say no, we say yes”. This season explores a serial act of reverse theft: a tiny three piece corduroy suit and a suitcase containing threatening items were planted on the victim’s veranda in the middle of nowhere. Our forensic experts are also back on board, not because they want to be, but because we asked really really nicely, (and Karen can be unnervingly persuasive). Hosted on Acast. A Perfect Balance of Comedy and True-Crime

These three wonderful women are HYSTERICAL. I absolutely loved their antics, their senses of humor, their simultaneous amateurism and dedication when cracking the case. But there is also a real element of tension and mystery in the podcast as well, and a real excitement as Detective Lauren and her partners in non-crime inch closer to their ultimate revelations.

Best true crime podcast I’ve ever heard.

I want more of this type of entertainment. Super funny and ridiculous hijinks. Solved or not solved it’s still a fun journey. Love how candid Mike Berry and Jo the forensic person are about how amateur the detective work is. Great contrast! People that take the podcast too seriously are not the right audience for this. Easy listening entertainment. Relax 1 star people! Or go listen to some science if you can chill out a bit. I want more seasons!! Totally binge-worthy!

I was intrigued when I found out about this podcast, but I had no idea what to expect. After listening to most of the first season, I can say this is one of the funniest things I’ve ever listened to. It’s NOT a typical whodunnit true crime podcast! It’s a joke, people! The perfect amount of silly and fun, the characters are hilarious, and their Australian accents are the cherry on top
