Box Breath practice with Leroy Gordon

Box Breath practice with Leroy Gordon

Leroy Gordon is a men's coach and a fequent guest on this podcast. In March, as part of the Lover archetype conversation, Leroy offered this practice. It is, in my experience, a beautiful way to become a "lover" to this life I'm gifted. It slows me down. Opens me up.

The "Lover," Part III of my series of conversations with Leroy Gordon

The "Lover," Part III of my series of conversations with Leroy Gordon

Leroy Gordon is many things to do with "men's work." Coach. Leader. Teacher. In this #menswork conversation, Leroy talks about how he uses what are considered the "four archetypes of masculinity" in this work. Our focus in this conversation is on the Lover, with me sitting in "the chair" and answering his questions. A beautiful conversation that we'll be reprising as we go through the King archetype in a subsequent conversation.

    Please join us!

    Register at http://www.sacredbodies.ca/events

At the end of this conversation Leroy graces us with a short meditative practice that you can do while seated, pretty much anywhere.

I regularly host #menswork groups and conversations online. Every month one of these is a co-ed group conversation with a feminine-identified co-host. Why a feminine co-host for a men's conversation/group? Because I think we, as masculine-identified men, benefit from hearing what feminine-identified women have to say, as much as we also benefit from asking them questions. Don't be shy. If you can't join us, please email me any questions you have and I'll put them into the queue.

Some of these #menswork group conversations have a charge. Some don't. If you're registered in a SacredBodies.ca program they're already part of your registration. Please email me if you haven't received your code to bypass payment when you register at http://sacredbodies.ca/events

    Thank you for listening.

Katie Dove, talking with me about Marriage and the "Sacred Womb"

Katie Dove, talking with me about Marriage and the "Sacred Womb"

On February 20, 2024 I had the opportunity to host a conversation with Katie Dove about things that matter deeply to me. These include our masculine and feminine sexuality, our ways of being with each other, marriage, and more.

It was an hour that is shaping how I practice, both as a teacher and as a ceremonialist, but also as a man in relationship with women, and especially in relationship to myself.

Talking about Matrimony, with Stephen Jenkinson & Kimberly Ann Johnson

Talking about Matrimony, with Stephen Jenkinson & Kimberly Ann Johnson

Stephen Jenkinson and Kimberly Ann Johnson continue to have a powerful impact in my thinking and acting with regard to what I'm writing, teaching, and living in recent years. This started with the series of conversations that would become the book, The Reckoning.

Stephen and Kimberly Ann are on the cusp of another series of deep conversations, this time on topics related to the "Forgotten Pillars" - patrimony, matrimony, ritual, community, and more.

I was honoured to have Stephen and Kimberly Ann be part of my podcast leading up to the Forgotten Pillars program. This conversation may give you a taste of what they will be offering.

FMI about "Forgotten Pillars" please see kimberlyannjohnson.com/forgotten-pillars/
