I love the concept of this pod! They are doing great research on oddly niche topics (which I want so much more of) and getting ahold of wonderful insight from a lot of people directly related to the episodes. My only qualm is that the narration feels a bit stiff/ read off the page like a book report at times. Even when the duo semi-banters with each other/ makes a joke and laughs…it feels a bit forced or scripted. I think this can be resolved with time and practice and can’t wait for more!

Very good topics, interesting format, and I really hope to see more episodes in the future! Maybe you should do an episode about the racketeering in Philadelphia airport parking lots in the 90’s

My new favorite podcast. Intelligent, quirky and skillfully told. Only downside is the limited number of episodes.

Ea episode covers a different story & they’ll all great. Only problem is no new episodes since August ‘24 but listed as a weekly. Odd that it’s not marked as a limited series, or series ended, as are other podcasts. Love the series a lot. Hope Apple lets this podcast continue.

Great podcast and I’d love more of it but I keep seeing it at the top of my suggested podcast with the updated weekly tag. I get disappointed every time I check that there hasn’t been a new one since August.

Fun and Intriguing

I had a hard time remaining engaged with the hosts. I understand the need to follow a script, but it felt unnatural. I only listened to one episode and it was about a group of Moldovans gaining entry u to Canada under the guise of participating in a sports competition. Then they didn’t show up and didn’t go back to Moldova, and most claimed refugee status. Moldova is war torn and impoverished and it’s understandable why they took that opportunity. I hardly think it falls under the what a scam typically is.
