If Kappo Kakko was a third round pick, would we all be asking for Drury to sign him to a long-term contract? He clearly hasn’t developed into what we thought he would be, but I also think this fan base overstates just how poor he’s been. He’s a solid 5v5 play-driver and I like to think that if he wasn’t the 2nd overall pick, Rangers fans would be screaming he needs more ice time.
