Ignore 1 star reviews that are likely from faithful Mormons embarrassed of their own history. This podcast is thoughtful, well presented, and dives into accounts of history that have been thoroughly researched and vetted. Highly recommend!

It’s hilarious to me that a podcast based on a book written by a legitimate historian with sources directly gathered from the church archives and faithful members gets 1 star reviews because the LDS church conditions members to not accept anything they perceive as critical of the church regardless of how true they are. That tells a lot.
