Violet Awo Amoabeng– Did Someone Say Edible Skincare? #RawPureWild #innovationafrica

Today we’re talking an unconventional topic that seems weird at first, but so highly good once you give it a try! Today’s episode focuses on special guest Violet Awo Amoabeng (@awothegreat), as she joins MS ABA. and Kimberley Ofori. Amoabeng is an entrepreneur who founded the company Skin Gourmet, an edible skin care brand with products sourced from the wilds of Ghana. So pure you can eat it(no jokes)! Amoabengs business focuses on steering and leading staff rather than profit. Amoabeng believes that in order for a company to have an impact and be successful long-term, the business must be driven by passion. She reflects on how at times it can be hard, and she even has trouble facing staff when she feels financial goals are not being met. However, because she is truly happy at where she is in her business, with a loyal team, she is still able to thrive. Not only do we learn from her the factors we feel impact our lives negatively or positively on a daily basis, but we also understand that working hard to make a dream come to reality will always produce a bigger return on investment. This episode shows one how risks can pay off, and that it is possible to do it and feel better than you expected.
