Mr. Sim Katende is internationally recognized as a leading transactional lawyer in East Africa, with over 20 years multi-jurisdictional experience, having worked in New York, South Africa & Uganda. He has structured, negotiated, and executed landmark multi-million dollar deals and financial transactions in Uganda and East & Sub-Saharan Africa in the fields of: Capital Markets, Banking & Finance, Technology, Media & Telecommunication, Insurance, Private Equity, PPPs & Project Finance, Energy, Oil & Gas and Mergers & Acquisitions.
